Cartoon Magic - IrfanView Quick Guide

• To crop the face from a larger photo

Start IrfanView and open the photo you wish to use. Using the mouse click and drag a rectangle around the face that you require. From the 'Edit' menu, select 'Crop selection'. You now have cropped the photo. Save and upload to Cartoon Magic.

• To reduce the size of a photo

Start IrfanView and open the photo you wish to use. From the 'Image' menu, select 'Resize/Resample'. Under 'Set new size', type the value 100 in the 'Width' box. Press Ok and then save the image.
