Cartoon Magic - Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How do I process the photos once I have uploaded them?
A. Click each
image in turn to start the photo processing page. Move, stretch, rotate and
resize the photo so that the face fits as closely as possible under
the mask. When finished, click 'Save' and close the window. For a demonstration, click
here.
Q. How do I get pictures below 30kb
in size?
A. Use an image processing package, such as
IrfanView
(free to download - recommended) or
ACDSee to reduce the size. For
further instructions, please click
here.
Q. When I try to
resize
the photo, no image is displayed in the Cartoon Magic viewer.
A. Open
IrfanView
or
ACDSee and resave the image. Flash is very particular
regarding the strict adherence to JPG standards, and will not process
any image that does not conform exactly with these. By resaving, using
one of the packages above, your picture will now be in the standard
required.
